Join our clients dynamic Contract Management and Quality Assurance Team as a Contract Management Officer and play a vital role in ensuring commissioned services deliver value and meet the needs of Warwickshire citizens.In this role, you will lead contract management activities for a defined portfolio, working closely with stakeholders to monitor, evaluate, and improve service delivery. You'll use evidence-based approaches to shape markets and foster robust partnerships, ensuring services align with their high standards and strategic goals.Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver effective contract management in line with the Council's framework.
  • Monitor and analyze contract performance, ensuring timely reporting and compliance.
  • Manage supplier relationships, driving improvements and addressing non-compliance.
  • Support contract mobilization, delivery, and exit strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to shape and develop markets.
  • Use a risk management approach to deploy resources effectively across diverse contracts.
About You
  • A relevant contract management qualification (e.g., CIPS, CIPFA, IACCM Level 4 or higher) and 3+ years of contract/category management experience.
  • Expertise in contract management, procurement legislation, and market innovation.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced IT proficiency, including the ability to analyze data and prepare reports.
  • Experience addressing performance issues and managing challenging conversations.
