- As a member of the Workforce Services Leadership Team, ensure the delivery of the Our People Strategy and our Service Offer to customers to enable our organisational vision and outcomes to be achieved.
- Manage the team to delivery on your delivery plans and objectives.
- Manage both the strategic and the delivery element of the role, to ensure our services are fit now and for the future.
- Develop and maintain good working relationship with key stakeholders including statutory partners, service providers, voluntary section, internal and external customers.
- Subject matter expert for areas of responsibility and taking the organisational lead for this subject.
- Responsible for the implementation and delivery of relevant people solutions and interventions and work collaboratively across the service to achieve the desired outcomes
- Monitor performance of the service, enacting plans to address any underperformance.
- Understand business issues related to your areas of responsibility by building relationships with internal and external customers. Diagnose and design people solutions to address business issues.
- Ongoing service improvement to ensure out offer is best meeting the needs of our customers.
- A CIPD Level 7 qualification is essential
- Substantial experience of working at a senior level in HR
- Proven ability to drive organisational performance through change
- Leading / coordinating projects defining requirements, with developed skills in project management.
- Experience of running a busy payroll function and the use of MHR
