IT Infrastructure Manager - Warwick - 3 Months - Inside IR35 - £300 Per day Chapman Tate Associates are seeking a dedicated IT Infrastructure Manager to lead our clients infrastructure strategy and manage associated OPEX and CAPEX budgets. This role is critical in ensuring robust Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity processes, providing exceptional IT helpdesk services, maintaining IT hardware and software environments, and managing relationships with third-party IT service providers. The ideal candidate will constantly strive to enhance IT service levels and efficiency, promoting a proactive and customer-focused approach while adhering to established policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Asset and Configuration Management:
    • Develop and maintain policies and procedures for effective maintenance of desktop, laptop, mobile, telephone, printer, server, and network equipment.
    • Ensure these processes support business operations efficiently, minimise disruptions, and protect sensitive information.
  2. Infrastructure Security and Maintenance:
    • Lead security patching, business cloud services, and cyber security policy initiatives.
    • Oversee Group IT disaster recovery and business continuity, including LAN/WAN infrastructure.
  3. Service Management:
    • Develop and maintain best practice procedures for service desk, incident, problem, change, release, service level, capacity, service continuity/availability, and security management.
    • Ensure these practices align with industry standards.
  4. Team Management:
    • Manage and coach a small IT support team to maximise their effectiveness and productivity.
    • Ensure team members are appropriately skilled, offer opportunities for personal development, and promote a positive, proactive attitude.
  5. Software Asset Management:
    • Maintain compliance with Group software asset licenses.
  6. IT Support Delivery:
    • Fulfill responsibilities related to IT support, ensuring high standards of service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven track record of delivering customer-focused IT services in an FMCG commercial environment.
  • Experience implementing IT industry best practices (preferably ITIL) and knowledge of security management best practices (e.g., ISO 27001).
  • Broad technical skills across IT infrastructure hardware and software, with in-depth applied technical knowledge.
