PURPOSE OF ROLE 

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Team Manager to join one of our clients based within Warwickshire. As a pivotal member of the team, you will lead and develop a high-performing team, drive operational efficiency, and ensure exceptional customer service delivery. Our client is considering individuals from a Non-Insurance background as long as you have operational managerial and sales experience. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, ensuring alignment with company values.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including workflow, work allocation, and absence management across multiple locations.
  • Conduct monthly 1-2-1s and support personal development of team members.
  • Act as the liaison between the Training & Competency (T&C) team and department leadership.
  • Drive results by monitoring and analysing data to ensure KPIs and SLAs are met or exceeded.
  • Handle customer escalations and ensure delivery of exceptional service.
  • Make independent decisions while maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a customer-centric approach, ensuring service excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Proven experience of managing and developing teams.
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Excellent data analysis skills to monitor performance and achieve results.
  • Delivery of exceptional customer service and ability to resolve escalations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring smooth operational workflows.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Ability to maintain a high level of customer service at all times.
  • Knowledge and use of insurer products and solutions.
  • Sales and service process knowledge, particularly sales through service.
  • Proficient in account management systems and Microsoft Office.
