School Catering Assistant
Location: Warwickshire
Hourly rate: £11.44ph
Shifts: Monday - Friday within school hours
Contract type: Temporary
Start date: ASAP
We are currently looking for catering assistants to work in schools in the Warwickshire area (CV32, CV34, CV47)
This is a great opportunity for an individual with previous experience in catering to work within school hours. This role does require a full Child Enhanced DBS (or you must be willing to undergo one - we can support with this process but a small cost to you)
Your duties will include;
General assistant duties
Ensuring cleanliness of the kitchen at all times
Assisting with serving lunches
Following all health and safety procedures
Keeping surfaces clean and tidy
Clearing tables
Operating tills
Food preparation
The ideal candidate will;
Be able to work within a fast-paced environment
Be punctual
Have excellent communication skills
Able to multi-task
Able to work well both in a team and independently
Polite and friendly
Able to build good relationships
Have great customer service skills
Travelling:
Ideally you will have your own transport but there are bus routes in the area - please check your local services before applying.
Main requirements:
Food&Hygiene level 1 (we can process one for you for free)
Enhanced child DBS (if you don't have one we can support you with this)
Own transport
Previous catering experience
Knowledge of health and safety within a kitchen environment
