My client, a well-established law firm with a great reputation throughout Warwickshire, is seeking a newly qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its growing Court of Protection Property & Finance Team. This is an excellent opportunity to specialise in a niche area of law, supporting vulnerable individuals and their families in the management of property and financial affairs.

My client’s specialist Court of Protection team provides tailored legal advice to individuals with diminished mental capacity. The team handles deputyship applications, statutory wills, statutory gifting and financial & property affairs management, always prioritising the client’s best interests.

The team prides itself on a compassionate and client-focused approach, working collaboratively with medical, financial and social care professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes. 

The Role

You will be an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team, working on a varied caseload where no two clients or matters are the same.

The role involves:

  • Assisting senior solicitors in managing complex deputyship matters
  • Handling an independent caseload with appropriate guidance and supervision
  • Providing legal advice and support to vulnerable clients and their families
  • Collaborating with medical and social care professionals to ensure clients’ best interests are met
  • Managing financial aspects such as budgets and accounts with precision and accuracy

My client is seeking a newly qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a keen interest in Court of Protection work. While prior experience in this area is beneficial, it is not essential, and full training will be provided.
