Rocket Staffing are recruiting for a NQ Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join their specialist Court of Protection Team, based in Warwick.

About the Role:

As a key member of the Court of Protection Team, you will work alongside senior solicitors and support staff to provide expert legal advice on managing the financial affairs and property matters of individuals who have lost mental capacity. Your work will involve:

  • Supporting and advising on deputyship applications.
  • Managing client affairs, including property and finances, for vulnerable individuals.
  • Handling a caseload of property and financial affairs matters under the Court of Protection.
  • Assisting with statutory wills and other related Court of Protection issues.
  • Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver the best outcomes for clients.

What We’re Looking For:
  • A newly qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with relevant experience, ideally within a Court of Protection team.
  • Experience in Private Client or Personal Injury law with knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act will be considered for those without direct Court of Protection experience.
  • A calm, empathetic approach to working with vulnerable individuals and families facing challenging situations.
  • Highly numerate with a keen eye for detail, especially when working with budgets and accounts.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to achieving the best outcomes for your clients.
