Programme Lead Engineer - 39978 - £34.44/hr umbrella rate

 What You Will Do:

- Oversee the planning and delivery of approximately £5M worth of test properties, crucial for the launch of new electric vehicles.

- Coordinate the delivery of prototype phase properties and test kits, ensuring a cost and time-optimised plan for testing.

- Utilise CAD visualisation systems for virtual builds, integrating plans into the prototype Bill of Materials and part procurement systems.

- Work closely with Engineers, Purchasing, MP&L, and Suppliers to procure all necessary parts and assemblies.

- Lead and participate in meetings with the Programme Team, Test and Development teams to ensure successful testing completion.

- Manage programme close-out once all properties are delivered and testing has successfully completed.

What You Will Bring:

- Robust Excel Skills with an understanding of Bills of Materials (BoMs) and CAD visualisation.

- An engineering and testing background with project management experience.

- Automotive engineering and test experience, with a keen eye for detail and problem resolution.

- Excellent communication skills, capable of effective cross-functional collaboration.

- Ideally you will have experience in automotive subsystem testing for Body Engineering and test and development plan experience.
