An exciting vacancy has arisen within our Commercial Solutions Team, for a Project Engineer to join. Reporting directly to the Commercial Solutions Manager, to manage client projects in the form of Baxis Commercial Solutions, from point of orderthrough to successful completion and client handover.

Oversee all aspect of the Project life cycle from the pre-contractual agreement, planning(internal & external resource), budgetary control (prepare management reports) and in allcases deliver OTIF, through a successful risk management approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of project execution, execute, and finalize projectswithin established deadlines on budget and to high standards of quality.

  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure successfulproject delivery.

  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems.

  • Conduct on-site inspections and quality control checks.

  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements andexpectations.

  • Address client concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, architects, and other stakeholders,providing regular project updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring clientsatisfaction.

  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met.

  • Efficiently allocate resources and materials to optimize project outcomes.

  • Ensure all aspects of HVAC projects comply with relevant regulations and standards,implement quality assurance processes to guarantee the delivery and completion of asuccessful project.

  • Identify potential risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies. Troubleshootand resolve issues to keep projects on track.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, monitoring progress and adjusting timelinesas necessary. Implement strategies to expedite critical paths

What you will bring

  • Proven experience within project management.

  • Safety management or demonstrateby means of qualification.

  • Strong knowledge of Heating, Hot water or HVAC systems and industry best practices.

  • Experience in managing projects values from £30,000 to £500,000.

  • NEC4/JCT Project Management/Contractual Knowledge.

  • Proven leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • HNC in Building Services or higher.

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical and electrical Project Management, within

  • commercial new build and refurbishment projects.

  • Strong understanding of mechanical & electrical systems, HVAC, and plumbing.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Effective problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with relevant software and project management tools
