Planning Manager - Assurance & Control
An increible opportunity has arisen for a professional Planning Manager to lead and develop a team of Planning Engineers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role offers the opportunity to shape project success and ensure the timely delivery of key milestones through expert planning and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Planning Engineers, providing support, guidance, and mentoring in best practices related to planning, reporting, and governance processes.
- Collaborate directly with Project Directors to develop comprehensive project plans across all phases, from inception to completion.
- Coordinate planning resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.
- Establish timelines for the production of cost-loaded, deliverable programmes for project sanction.
- Support Project Directors in achieving portfolio success by delivering consistent, value-driven project planning activities.
Key Capabilities:
- Team Leadership & Line Management: Effectively guide and develop your team.
- Project Planning Expertise: Experience with Primavera P6, NEC clauses, and compensation event analysis.
- Programme & Portfolio Management: Develop and manage programmes that align with the overall project goals.
- Client Relationship Management: Ensure that client requirements are met and managed professionally.
Desirable Skills:
- Proficiency in Primavera P6.
- Knowledge of NEC contractual clauses and cost management.
- Certification such as APM or equivalent.
