Contract Outline:

Role: SCADA PM / Training Lead

Sector: Electricity Transmission

Location: Warwick (Hybrid)

Contract Length: 12 months +

IR35: Inside

Rate: £600-700pd

Role Overview:

  • Managing the implementation of a new SCADA System for the Electricity Transmission Network (ET).
  • Managing the creation and delivery of engaging training for ET's SCADA users, achieving great feedback and allowing immediate, effective use of the new SCADA software and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring ET's operational competence is maintained throughout the transition.
  • Finalising the training needs assessment for all the trainee groups defined in the programme's training strategy.
  • Working with training managers from the Transmission Network Control Centre and Asset Operations, to maintain the plan for user training activities.
  • Developing and implementing a training communication plan.
  • Managing training delivery, including invites and logistics, aligned to the overall deployment plan.
  • Reporting on training feedback; making adjustments to respond to points raised.

Essential Skillset:

  • Experience Project Managing technology transformation projects, such as SCADA or SAP.
  • Understanding of Electricity Transmission.
  • National Grid experience would be a bonus.
  • Appreciation for Control Systems would be a bonus.
