Your new companyThis large 2 form entry primary school, situated at the heart of its community, is looking for a Year 2 teacher to start ASAP until July 2025. The reason for this job is that the current teacher is the deputy headteacher, and they are being released to support the headteacher on a full-time basis. This school is easily accessible from Coventry, Leamington Spa, Startford Upon Avon and surrounding villages. This school is surrounded by lots of greenery with lots of space within the school for children to explore and be creative. This job is exclusive to Hays only. Your new roleYour new job as a Year 2 teacher will either be working on a full or part-time basis until July 2025. This job has the potential to be paid direct via the school on a fixed-term contract. The school is also able to support ECT's, so applications are welcome from newly qualified teachers through to more experienced teachers looking for 4 or 5 days' work per week. This new job will require you to take on full class responsibility including planning, preparation, marking and any assessments required. Some of the schemes this school uses are white rose and phonics bug. The children within this class are very able, but the right teacher would need to be dedicated, confident in their teaching and have excellent relationship building as well as able to set clear boundaries. What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this new job, you must be available to work 4 or 5 days per week, you will be supported by a TA every morning and the majority of the afternoons. There are some children in the class going through EHCP's, so an awareness of a wider variety of needs would be desirable but not essential.
