Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Senior Transactional Buyer on behalf of a global company in the renewable energy industry. This role is Monday - Friday Hybrid working with 3 Days onsite and 2 Days Remote working. This is a 12 Month contract that has the potential to extend.The successful Senior Transactional Buyer will join the Team based at the Warwick Office. The Senior Transactional Buyer will manage their own portfolio of Suppliers, managing a variety of Procurement activity, including managing the work queue, processing PO’s in a timely manner, negotiating new costs and supplier evaluation amongst other day to day duties.Responsibilities:To manage a workqueue and secure that POs are issued in due timeEnsure a close cooperation with Internal Customers (MRPCs, requisitioners) to ensure customer care and early involvementManage a portfolio of suppliers, negotiate price increase requests, resolve issues pertaining to invoicing/paymentContribute to implementation and ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes and systems to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance (e.g. compliant Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, Procurement guidelines, IT systems)Support Supplier Management processes (e.g. qualification, selection, evaluation, development, classification)Update supplier evaluation systems to obtain and develop the best suppliers and ensure transparency and high procurement qualityMaintain records of all documentation, adherence of online purchasing and contract management systemsSupport and/or lead Procurement Business Plan activitiesAnalyse Risk Negotiation of new costingWorking cross functionally with Quality and Engineering departments Understand what different parts are and understanding drawings Understand legalisations and restrictions

Key Skills/ Experience/ Qualifications:Strong SAP transactional experience (PS1 ATLAS module, production environment)Outstanding Excel skills3+ years of experience in Direct ProcurementTeam player with the ability to also work independently to meet fixed deadlines, goals and objectivesAbility to work in a complex, fast changing global organizational environmentBachelor’s degreeEnglish - Advanced/Fluent levelPlease note this is working in a Highly technical environment so a background in an Engineering Environment would be beneficial not not essential
