Are you a passionate Geography Teacher with a PGCE/QTS?

Twenty4Seven Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join one of our fantastic secondary schools in Warwick. This role starts in January 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver dynamic, thought-provoking Geography lessons that inspire students to explore topics such as physical geography (e.g., natural hazards, tectonics, and climate change), human geography (e.g., urbanization, migration, and global development), and environmental issues (e.g., sustainability and ecosystems).
  • Support and Assess: Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support students in achieving their academic goals in both key stage 3 and key stage 4 Geography.
  • Resource Development: Prepare and implement engaging resources that make geographical concepts accessible and interesting, using maps, data analysis, and real-world case studies.
  • Classroom Management: Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation, respect, and academic growth, while fostering an appreciation for the subject.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with colleagues to develop and enhance the Geography curriculum and contribute to broader academic initiatives across the school, including field trips and cross-curricular projects.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Passion for teaching and inspiring students in Geography.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Experience teaching Geography at secondary school level is preferred, but not essential.
  • Ability to differentiate lessons for diverse learning needs and encourage independent research.
