The role
An experiencedInstructor and Lecturer in Carpentry and Joinery to deliver high-quality teaching and training to students at levels 1, 2, and 3, including apprentices, within the construction department at their campus based in Warwick.
Hours: Mon-Fri 37 hours
You will take responsibility for:
- Delivering theoretical instruction in carpentry and joinery to students and apprentices.
- Teaching and assessing learners at levels 1, 2, and 3, ensuring they meet learning objectives and industry standards.
- Performing Instructor Technician duties within the construction department as required.
- Supporting and mentoring students to achieve their full potential.
- Maintaining accurate records of learner progress and complying with educational standards and procedures.
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful Production Manager to have the following:
- A Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline (Carpentry and Joinery).
- Demonstrable experience in carpentry and joinery.
- Proven relevant teaching experience
- Up to date knowledge of all current industry standards and practices
- An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months is required for this role.
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
- A relevant teaching or A1 Assessors qualification or willingness to work towards obtaining one.
- Experience working in an education setting.
