Back to searchWe are recruiting for SEND Teachers who will be able to support in either a specialist unit that is attached to a mainstream school or teach in a mainstream classroom supporting children with additional needs.
Experience of working with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), and other Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) such as Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties is desirable but not essential.

Some elements of the role:
supporting and directing TA's to support the children in the classroom
working with children 1:1 or delivering sessions with small groups of students
managing classroom resources
managing heightened behaviours and keeping children safe
celebrating success
We require a teaching qualification with QTS as well as an enhanced DBS which is on the update service (or willing to purchase a DBS)
