Shipping Coordinator

We are currently recruiting for a Shipping Coordinator for a large manufacturing company thriving in the fire and safety sector.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments and preparing items for shipment. You will work closely with the Production Manager to ensure the seamless coordination of shipments and production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Stores when required
• Maintain records of pumps on the JDE system
• Operate Forklift Truck or hand truck
• Unpack and examine incoming shipments
• Check for damaged items
• Manage and control the storage, shipment, and collection of completed pump orders
• Manage and organize the dispatch services to the customers
• Communicate with the customers
• Be responsible for ensuring that the quality of the product and service for the customers is maintained at the highest possible standard
• Support the packing area
• Create and provide shipping documentation
• Maintain full SOPs of the procedures in line with the QMS process

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in shipping logistics and goods in
• Knowledge of shipping documentation
• Previous experience in a factory

Hours:

• Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week

Salary:

• 27-30
