Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Transport Planner to join a growing team based in Warwickshire. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in planning and managing transportation systems, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods and people.

As a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for developing transportation solutions, analyzing routes, and working closely with internal teams and external partners to optimize logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement transportation plans that align with company goals and customer requirements.
• Analyze traffic patterns, road networks, and transportation systems to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Plan and coordinate efficient and cost-effective transportation routes, including optimization of fleet management.
• Collaborate with logistics teams, drivers, and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including safety standards and environmental considerations.
• Monitor and review the performance of transport systems, suggesting and implementing improvements.
• Provide regular reports on transportation activities and performance metrics to management.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, legislation changes, and best practices to enhance transportation operations.
• Manage and maintain records related to transportation planning, including permits, route details, and scheduling.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in transport planning, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to optimize transportation operations.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in transport planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of UK transportation regulations and industry best practices.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• A valid UK driving license is desirable but not essential.
