Job Title - Full-Time Welder/Fabricator
Job Details
Your responsibilities include:
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Completing assigned mild steel welding works to programme.
- Working to standard operating procedures.
- Upholding health and safety policies and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Working as part of a team and under your own initiative when required
- Communicating effectively with team members to ensure that processes are executed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensuring that your work area is well maintained, clean and organised.
- Using overhead crane for workpiece handling.
- Minimum 4 years experience in MIG welding of mild steel.
- A background in a production environment.
- Methodical and organised with good communication skills.
- Quality conscious with attention to detail.
- Experience with general power tool usage.
- Experience with general workshop machinery.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and under your own initiative when required.
- A desire for self-improvement and enthusiasm.
- Good time management skills.
- Mon-Fri 7.30am- 4.30pm. Morning break 30 minutes (paid). Lunch break 30 minutes

£16 - £17 per hour dependant on experience
