Description
The successful individual will lead and be responsible for the provision of an expert financial management service to the business and will undertake responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Taking the lead and responsibility for the monthly reporting for nominated areas, including the production of high quality information, cost and income analysis, forecasting and the presentation of this information.
- Support the Heads of Service & Service Managers in the discharge of their financial responsibilities; including maintaining a balanced budgetary position, development and reporting of the cost improvement programme (CIP) and the financial modelling of service developments.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Company's medium to long term financial strategy.

Profile
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following experience:
Finance Expertise: CCAB qualified accountant (or equivalent experience) with post-qualification experience in management accounting within a large organisation.
Financial Management Skills: Proven experience in budgeting, financial planning, performance management, costing, and cost improvement programs. Expertise in producing financial analysis for statutory returns.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in computerised financial ledger systems. Strong IT skills across a range of financial systems.
Analytical & Communication Skills: Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills (written and oral). Meticulous approach and attention to detail.
Business Acumen: Sound business knowledge and awareness of company development and associated financial changes.
