Role ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Accountant, you will manage a range of accounting responsibilities, providing high standards of service to clients. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing year-end accounts and corporation tax computations to a high standard
- Producing management accounts for clients
- Preparing VAT returns and ensuring compliance
- Reviewing client records and advising on software improvements or process enhancements
- Building strong relationships with clients and team members
- Working on client records using Sage and Xero, both in the office and on-site
- Managing your own workload and meeting tight deadlines effectively

Candidate Requirements- AAT Level 4 qualification as a minimum, or 2-3 years of experience within an accountancy practice
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in Sage and Xero being advantageous
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
- A clean driving licence and the ability to work on-site with clients when required
- High standards of work ethic, conduct, and professionalism
- £38,000 to £48,000 per annum
