Velocity is seeking experienced Class 1 drivers for a food distribution client in Washington.
The role involves trunking fridge trailers across the country, with flexible shifts lasting approximately 12 hours.
Pay rates vary, with £12.84 for the first 8 hours from Monday to Friday, increasing to £16.08 after 8 hours, and higher rates for weekends and bank holidays.
Candidates must have held their license for at least 2 years and possess a minimum of 1 year of driving experience, with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
A paid induction, including a driving assessment and classroom training, is required before starting.

Velocity are recruiting experienced Class 1 drivers for their busy food distribution client in Washington

Duties will include trunking fridge trailers to various RDC’s all over the country with a collection on the way back or changeovers in set locations. Typically shifts will last approximately 12hrs.

Start times/days are flexible ranging from 01.00-18.30 Monday to Sunday

Rates of Pay are:

Mon – Fri (1st 8hrs) - £12.84

Mon – Fri (After 8hrs) - £16.08

Saturday (All hrs) - £16.08

Sunday (All hrs) - £19.03

Bank Hols (All hrs) - £25.72

You will be required to attend a paid induction before starting which will consist of a 1 hour driving assessment and then 6-7 hour classroom induction

Applicant must have held their licence for atleast 2 years with 1 year experience and have no more than 6 points for minor offences
