The role involves shunting trailers, securing loads, completing paperwork, and conducting daily vehicle checks.
The position requires a rotating shift pattern from Monday to Friday, with day shifts from 06:30 to 15:00 and back shifts from 16:00 to 23:30.
The pay rate is £15.12 for the first 8 hours of day shifts and £17.38 for back shifts, with overtime rates available.
Candidates must pass drug and alcohol tests, and the position is ongoing with weekly wage payments.

Trinity Business Support are currently looking for a HGV 1 Driver to work at our Washington depot.

Due to an increase in production, we now require an additional driver to join our ever-increasing team.

Working within the automotive sector, our team are responsible for first line deliveries of products to our production facilities across Washington.

Duties:

Shunting trailers around the yard (high volume drop and swaps) using tractor units and Tug units.
Securing loads for transit
Completing load paperwork
Dropping vehicles in to warehouse unites and on to loading bays
Daily vehicle checks
Fault reporting
Maintaining a clean and tidy vehicle
