Gas Installation Engineer

Example Recruitment Group are recruiting for Gas Installation Engineers to join its growing local team to work on a Social Housing contract without an end date covering work in Sunderland/ Washington geographical areas. 

You can complete two combi swaps per day as all the work is close together and planned in to give you an AM/ PM job. 

Job Rate:

£210 per combi swap including a horizonal flue and gas run up to 3 metres.

Schedule of rates on top for vertical flues, gas runs over 3 metres, radiators and TRV`s.

Benefits:

• Have a Builder and Electrician on the job.
• Builder will complete Soakaways where required, plastering and making good if over and above minor patching, boxing in required for pipework.
• Can get an apprentice to work with you to help out on bigger jobs.
• Schedule of rates on top for vertical flues, gas runs over 3 metres, radiators and TRV`s.

Experience/ skills needed:

• Be able to complete gas boiler combi swaps to a high standard.
• Ability to undertake gas and plumbing works to a consistently high standard and in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Gas Safe Qualified with a minimum of CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1 and preferable HTR1, WAT1 and CKR1.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a similar role, a Driving Licence and commercial van suitable for transporting boiler and heating materials.
