Salary: 40,000 - 45,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Location: Washington, Tyne and Wear. Hybrid working is available.
Travel will be required on to go to client sites when necessary.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

The Role:
Support the Lead Electrical Engineer and the wider team with the development of energy-saving solutions.
- Provide help from the initial idea to final stages of development.
- Develop solutions to energy and water efficiency upgrade challenges.
- Assist with site surveys and building reports for solution development.
- Produce and design calculations for different projects.
- To be aware of the environmental aspects and impacts relevant to the work of the job holder as well as ensuring compliance with any environmental legislation that is applicable to the job.
- Energy modelling and savings calculations.
- Assist in optimising the design processes that are currently in place.
- Ensure all aspects of new and ongoing projects are in line with up-to-date best practice industry standards.
Experience/Skills Required:
- Experience of designing renewable energy heating systems or building services related designs is preferable.
- Knowledge and experience of using AutoCAD and Revit is preferable.
- Electrical Engineering degree (related degrees will be considered).
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering is preferable but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to talk to clients.
- Good time management skills.
- Experience with MS Office (Excel and Word).
