Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician
Location: Washington, Tyne & Wear
Salary: £46,660 including shift premium (£37,935 basic, 3 shift pattern)
What you'll be doing:
- Performing site maintenance and installation activities
- Conducting minor and major repairs
- Providing breakdown response and diagnostics to resolve manufacturing equipment issues
- Supporting contractors during technical works
- Attending site operational meetings as required
- Executing work orders from the site CMMS
- Updating work order details to maintain the asset database for the site on all works performed
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Time served Electrical apprenticeship, preferably with HNC/HND qualification
- 17th/18th edition Wiring Regulation qualification
- Experience in the manufacturing industry, working under time pressure and performance metrics
Desirable:
- Safety Qualifications (e.g. IOSH, working at height, MEWP licence)

Our Maintenance Team: As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will engage in a variety of electrical activities that protect the Washington site and ensure the manufacturing teams can perform their duties. This includes planned maintenance, reactive breakdown response/repairs, and work requests.
