Position Overview:

The Powder Coating Labourer will be responsible for supporting the powder coating process by preparing parts, maintaining the work environment, and assisting the powder coaters. This is an entry-level role with potential for growth, ideal for someone with a good work ethic and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare parts for powder coating, including cleaning, masking, and hanging parts on racks.
• Assist in loading and unloading parts from the coating booths or oven.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, including cleaning tools and equipment.
• Monitor and maintain supplies such as masking materials, cleaning agents, and other necessary items.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Help in inspecting coated parts for quality and assist in reworking any defective items.
• Perform general labouring tasks as needed to support production operations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good physical stamina, as the role involves standing, lifting, and moving parts throughout the day.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
• A forklift licence would be a major advantage
