Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead the Mercure Newcastle George Washington Hotel, Golf & Spa. Located in the tranquil area of Washington, just a short drive from Newcastle, our hotel features 125 well-appointed bedrooms, six versatile meeting spaces accommodating up to 300 guests, and a vibrant leisure club and spa with treatment rooms, a swimming pool, spa pool, and sauna. Additionally, our property boasts an 18-hole golf course with a clubhouse and a 16-bay floodlit driving range.

Exciting Transformation Ahead:

This is a pivotal time for our hotel as we embark on a multimillion-pound refurbishment. Our comprehensive plans include modernizing all guest bedrooms and significantly redeveloping our meetings and events (M&E) spaces, spa, and leisure club facilities. This transformation aims to elevate our guest experience and position our hotel as a premier destination for both leisure and business travellers.

Maximise Revenue Streams:
