We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our clients team as a Sales/Account Manager. This is a permanent role based in Washington however, the role will require travel on a weekly basis with potentially overnight stays.

Hours of work are 8.00am-5.00pm Monday -Thursday 8.00am-12.00pm Friday. 

Suitable candidates will have excellent customer service skills and manage all existing accounts. As well as having the drive and passion to hunt down new business opportunities and expand existing relationships.

Duties of the role include:

  • Managing all existing customer accounts largely based in the north east and Scotland
  • Visiting customers in person to offer support and maintain relationships
  • Developing business opportunities and expanding current orders where possible with existing business
  • Identifying, prospecting and converting new business
  • Networking with new and existing customers
  • Identifying potential avenues to sell into different markets
  • Working with company Directors so develop new sales strategies 


Desired Experience: 

  • Proven track record of developing business relationships is desirable
  • The ability to grow existing business relationships
  • Experience of converting prospects into new accounts is highly advantageous

Essential requirements 

  • Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points
  • Strong work ethic
  • The ability to deliver exceptional customer service
