We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Network Architect to join a dynamic and forward-thinking company dedicated to delivering reliable and sustainable solutions to millions of homes and businesses. The Role
In this role you will be responsible for implementing and managing network infrastructure, defining and assessing the organisation's network strategy, architecture, and practices. Identifying the IT network risks and constraints, translating into technical control requirements and specifications, and managing the outcomes to deliver the required objectives.
The successful candidate will have experience of some of the following. The below list isn’t exhaustive, it’s more to provide an idea. If you’re meeting a handful of the required points, we’d still encourage you to apply:
- Experience within a similar role
- Experience with designing and implementing computer and information networks, such as (LAN), (WAN), intranets and extranets
- Ability to understand the business processes and commercial concepts to interact with business partners and service providers at a peer level.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and develop solutions within established standards
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both orally and written
- Strong Problem Management mindset
- An understanding of the working practices in an enterprise governed environment
