  • This position is a dayshift role from Monday to Friday, and prior experience with PUMA and/or Mazak is preferred.
Kinetic Recruitment are actively resourcing for an experienced CNC Machinist Team Leader to join our client on a permanent contract. As a Time-Served CNC Machinist yourself, you will lead forward and develop a team of skilled machinists to achieve production targets on time and within budget.

Job Role:

Supervise a team of 15-20 skilled workers across multiple shift patterns.
Supervise manpower, manage and motivate team of operators.
Carry out employee appraisals, reviews, disciplinary, grievance and absence management cases.
Monitor performance of team, coach and support where performance is not at required standard.
Identify training needs and organise the delivery of on the job skills and safety training.
Support the development and implementation of continuous improvement activities utilising lean tools and techniques to drive delivery performance.
Show a proactive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to work, with excellent attention to detail.

Skills and Experience:

Time served Engineering apprenticeship.
Previous success in implementing and sustaining continuous improvement activities.
Extensive experience in CNC machining.
Proven ability to lead a team ensuring deliverables ae achieved to the required quality, cost, and delivery.
A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to work, with excellent attention to detail.
Excellent team work and communication skills.
Strong health and safety awareness is required.
Experience of PUMA and/or Mazak would be an advantage.

This is a dayshift position working Monday - Friday.
