Tendering Enginner / Manager – Permanent – Circa £70,000 + Car Allowance
Location: Washington (Near Newcastle)

Our client, a leading provider of turnkey solutions in the power and energy sector, is seeking an experienced Tendering Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven professional with expertise in BES (Battery Energy Storage), Solar, and 132kV infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the tendering process, ensuring competitive, compliant, and commercially sound submissions.
  • Develop and manage tender strategies for turnkey projects, including BES, Solar, and 132kV infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure accurate cost estimation and risk assessment.
  • Review client requirements, identifying opportunities for innovation and value engineering.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and partners to support business growth.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a tendering or proposals management role within the power, renewables, or infrastructure sector.
  • Strong understanding of turnkey project delivery, particularly in BES, Solar, and high-voltage (132kV) systems.
  • Excellent commercial and contractual awareness, with the ability to negotiate and assess risks effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, both internally and externally.
