My client is seeking a Payroll Assistant to ensure the smooth operation of our payroll processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate payroll records, adhering to legal and regulatory requirements, and providing timely reports to various functions within the organisation.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Strictly adhere to legal and regulatory requirements for payroll processing.
  • Collect monthly payroll amendments from various sources and input data into relevant spreadsheets for processing.
  • Review payroll reports and coordinate with the external payroll provider to ensure wage accuracy.
  • Process new starters, leavers, and employee amendments efficiently.
  • Address payroll queries promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of service.
  • Generate reports and provide payroll and labour cost information to support business functions.
  • Maintain HR records in compliance with GDPR and manage the Time & Attendance system, offering support and training to users.
  • Complete general HR administrative tasks related to the employee lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in payroll administration.
  • Familiarity with payroll software and HR systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and its application within HR.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to support and coach system users.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working hours: (Hybrid, 3 days in office, 2 days at home)

Mon - Thurs: 7:45am - 16:45pm

Fri: 7:45pm - 12:45pm
