The Company

Our client is a specialist Engineering company due to growth they now require an Engineering Quality Manager.

The Role

  • Oversee the Quality Department, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Act as the in-house Welding Coordinator, managing welding operations and ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Conduct and supervise weld inspections, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
  • Lead and develop quality assurance initiatives, including audits, testing, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize fabrication processes, particularly in the production of equipment.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on welding, fabrication, and quality-related issues.
  • Maintain and improve compliance with industry standards and certifications.

The Person

  • PCN level 2 certified, CSWIP 3.2 Welding Inspection Qualification.
  • Significant experience in heavy engineering, with a strong focus on fabrication and welding.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and codes.
