We are currently working with a fantastic client based in the Washington area who are looking for aProduction Supervisor to start asap.

Shift & Salary

  • Monday to Friday
  • 7am - 3:30pm
  • From £36,000 per annum, DOE

The Purpose

  • The purpose of the Production Supervisor is to organise the day to day operation across the site to make sure all planning requirements are fulfilled in a safe and efficient manner with highest quality standards to exceed customer expectations.
  • Drive projects within LEAN Manufacturing
  • Responsible for developing Team Leaders into a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and flexible employees who are able to thrive on targets and achieve a high standard of results.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Communicate day to day production plan to ensure people and resources are applied in an efficient and effective manner to meet delivery requirements while achieving quality and safety standards.
  • Ensure that Team Leaders follow defined procedures.
  • Responsible for driving LEAN Manufacturing projects.
  • Responsible for all production documentation ensuring everything is up to date.
  • Ensure all quality and safety standards are followed and any concerns are resolved.
  • Planning cover.
  • Responsible for organising staff training and managing holidays.
  • Responsible for conducting risk assessments.

Desirable Skills Qualifications

  • Good IT Skills - use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
  • Good problem solving and decision making - experience of Kaizen and LEAN

Essential Skills Qualifications

  • Leading and managing qualification - or working towards
  • Good at prioritising and able to work well under pressure
  • Ability to hit customer deadlines
  • Able to provide insight to production data
  • Able to write and implement SOPs and WIs
