Position: Warehouse / Stores Team Leader
Day shift: 25,000 - 27,000
Location: Washington
Hours: 40 hours per week - 09:00 - 17:00
Proactive are currently in search of an experienced Warehouse / Stores Team Leader to start work immediately in Washington.
This is an exciting opportunity working for a market leader in the design and manufacture of high performance geotechnical equipment. You will be working as part of a wider team delivering projects to meet production targets.
Our client requires candidates who have experience working within a manufacturing/engineering warehouse environment. You will have an understanding of and adherence to Health - Safety legislation including COSHH requirements. The ideal Candidate will hold a valid FLT Counterbalance / Bendi Truck Licence.
As a Warehouse Team Leader you will be responsible for
- FLT / Counterbalance / Bendi Truck duties
- Supervising a team of 4 Stores Operatives
- Picking parts for the production team
- Loading and unloading of materials
- Actively assist in the Goods in / Goods out department
- Checking stock and logging inventory.
- Key skills for the role include, but not limited to:
- Microsoft / Warehouse MRP experience - Desirable
- FLT / Counterbalance / Bendi Truck Licence
- Work effectively as part of a team and under own initiative.
- Strong communication skills.
- Be resourceful and adaptable with good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Reliable / good time keeping.
- Self-motivated / proactive / Solution Finding.
