Food Technology Teacher

Your new companyA secondary school is seeking a passionate and dynamic Food Technology Teacher with Elements of Design and Technology to join our committed team of educators. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality and engaging lessons to students.Your new role- Develop and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Food Technology and Design and Technology- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students- Plan and prepare schemes of work, resources, and assessments in line with the National Curriculum and school policies- Monitor and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback to students and parents/carers- Contribute to the development and implementation of the school's curriculum- Participate in extra-curricular activities and school eventsWhat you'll need to succeed- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)- Relevant degree in Food Technology or Design and Technology- Experience teaching Food Technology and/or Design and Technology in a secondary school setting- Knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements- Ability to plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons to students of all abilities- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skillsWhat you'll get in returnSalary:The salary range for this position is £30,000 - £46,525 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.Contract:This is a permanent, full-time position, starting in September.
