Staffpower Group are excited to be representing a rapidly expanding fabrication company based in Washington.
We a looking for a Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator / Welder to start asap.
Salary & Shifts
- Day shift
- Monday to Thursday 7am - 4am
- Friday 7am - 1pm
- £15 per hour
- Overtime available
- Temp to perm
The role:
- Fabricating jobs to an acceptable quality standard using engineering drawings, works instructions / specifications and Manufacturing Information Documents
- Fabricating bespoke products from mild/stainless steel and aluminium
- Experience of MIG and TIG welding is essential
- Self-checking and being accountable for own quality of work.
- Driving license essential as will be required to regularly work on various sites
- Forklift license would be an advantage
- Experience using general fabrication workshop equipment
The person:
- Must be able to work well as a team and individually
- Able to read and work from customer and engineering drawings as required
- Hold a full UK Driving Licence
