Press Maintenance Technician

A Global Manufacturing company are looking for Press Maintenance Technicians to join their team on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for responding to technical issues affecting production and maintaining mechanical & electrical machinery encompassing blanking, progressive and transfer presses. Earlies, lates and night shift rotating

The Role and Responsibilities

  • PPM to reduce machine downtime.
  • Maintenance on Hydraulic Power Presses
  • Equipment setting to meet weekly production requirements.
  • Servicing, maintenance, and improvement of mechanical & electrical equipment & services in accordance with current regulations.
  • Maintaining and interrogating PLC systems and Drive systems (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Fanuc and reliance currently used on site)
  • Executing Planned Preventative Maintenance and provide feedback to develop systems & procedures.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience in a Maintenance role within a busy manufacturing environment
  • Press Maintenance experience is advantageous
  • Work within 5S methodology to maintain workplace to a high standard.
  • HNC/NVQ Level 3 Qualification in engineering mechanical engineering discipline
