THE ROLE
As the Lead Site Hand - Sheet Metalworker / Fabricator / Welder, you will:Â
• Perform high-quality TIG/MIG welding and fabrication work both in the workshop and on various customer sitesÂ
• Complete small fabrication, maintenance, and installation projects to exacting standardsÂ
• Work from customer and engineering drawings, maintaining high precision and accuracyÂ
• Operate general fabrication workshop equipment with skillÂ
• Take the lead on-site, supervising and working with a small team when necessaryÂ
• Ensure self-checking and accountability for all work completedÂ

THE PERSONÂ Â
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sheet metalwork, fabrication, and TIG/MIG weldingÂ
• Prior site experience (experience in the food and drinks industry is advantageous)Â
• Clean driving licence (Forklift licence is desirable)Â
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accuratelyÂ
• Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and pride in high-quality workmanshipÂ
• Able to work independently or within a team, and take initiative on-site projectsÂ

THE PACKAGE
• £16 per hourÂ
• 40-hour work week: Monday – Thursday 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, Friday 7:00 am – 1:00 pmÂ
• Overtime available at an enhanced rateÂ
• 20 days holiday plus statutory daysÂ
