About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator with a strong background in architectural metalwork to join a well-established team in Washington, Sunderland. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship and enjoys working within a supportive and efficient environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricating and welding bespoke architectural metalwork such as staircases, balustrades, handrails, and other structural components.
- Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to produce accurate and precise work.
- Operating various workshop tools and machinery to complete projects to the highest standard.
- Inspecting and ensuring the quality of finished products.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in welding and fabricating architectural metalwork.
- Proficiency in MIG/TIG welding (knowledge of other welding techniques is advantageous).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering/technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Reliable and self-motivated with a good team ethic.
