Assembler

Location: Aldermaston (just outside of Basingstoke) 

Working Hours:

• Option 1: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch break)
• Option 2: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (30-minute lunch break)

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

As an Assembler, you will join our Direct Manufacturing team, assembling component parts to produce precision assembly that meet our exacting standards. You will play a key role in supporting the Production Managers and Product Specialists to ensure the timely delivery of our products.

• Precisely follow both documented and verbal instructions to assemble complex equipment to high standards.
• Minimal soldering required for the completion of assembly. 
• Using a variety of intricate tools to assemble the product. 
• Perform mechanical assembly of small parts, adhering to clean handling processes.
• Identify and suggest improvements to optimize quality and efficiency.

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, organised, capable of working independently or as part of a team, high attention to detail and good dexterity. 

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Familiarity with mechanical assembly processes.
• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Previous soldering experience is advantageous this skill can be trained
