Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

We are looking for full-time Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to join our maintenance team based in our Waterford depot.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a full range of routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on all types of trucks, buses, and coaches
- Carry out diagnostics on all vehicles as well as any unscheduled maintenance issues both on and off site
- Maintain and present vehicles for MOT/CVRT
- Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all H&Sprocedures
- Complete all necessary paperwork for inspections and defect rectification
- Liaise with the parts department for required parts
- Communicate effectively with engineers and drivers, providing support to colleagues
- Participate in ongoing training
- Ability to work on weekends (on-call roster rotation)
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Heavy Vehicle (HV) Mechanic
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience repairing heavy vehicles
- Proven diagnostic capabilities with good computer skills
- Organised, self-motivated, and a team player with a strong sense of commitment
- A full driving licence is essential
- Holding a Commercial Licence would be an advantagehowever, driver training can be provided to the successful applicant
