Job summary:

As an Accountant you will lead a small team providing training, 1-2-1 meetings and performing return to work interview. support the Accountancy Manager with planning and monitoring the performance of the team.

You will directly involved in the interview process when recruiting new staff, other responsibilities include:

  • Communication with clients
  • Insuring deadlines are met
  • Onboard new clients in your portfolio
  • Review and prepare book-keeping and Tax returns.

Essential skills:

  • Strong experience working in a practice
  • Experience holding client meetings
  • Experience using Quickbooks, Xero or similar
  • Microsoft experience including Excel and Word
  • Full membership to a professional body
