Our client a forward thinking firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking an Senior Accountant to join their team in Waterlooville.

You will be predominantly dealing with the accounts for a varied portfolio of clients, mainly consisting of Owner Managed Businesses and some charities, as well as some audit work The work will be split approximately 70/80% accounts and 20/30% audit.

Duties include:-

  • Preparation of company accounts
  • Audit work on a mixed portfolio of clients
  • Corporation tax Returns
  • VAT returns and management accounts
  • Personal Tax Returns
  • P11D’s
  • Tax Planning
  • Other ad-hoc projects as and when required

They are ideally looking for someone with previous practice experience of at least 3 years with a good technical knowledge of audit and accounts, as well as holding a professional qualification such as ACCA or ACA, although study support will be offered if required. You will also possess excellent communication and organisational skills.

An understanding of systems such as Sage, Xero and IRIS.
