Clinical Practice Development Nurse

Salary: £55,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits

Location: Waterlooville, Southampton

Hours: 40, 9.00 am – 5.00 pm

HCR are working in partnership with a continuous award-winning healthcare provider who are specialists in providing bespoke care for people with Neurological Conditions, Mental Health, Complex care, Dementia care and behaviours that may challenge. We are seeking a self-sufficient motivated Clinical Practice Development Nurse to join the Quality & Compliance team, focusing on clinical outcomes and best practices.

Clinical Practice Development Nurse Duties:

  • The Clinical Practice Development Nurse will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of care, compliance and best practice standards.
  • Clinical Practice Development Nurse will work closely with the management team across the homes to ensure care plans are being tailored to the individual needs of the resident.
  • To provide clinical guidance through clinical groups supervisions supporting the team where necessary.
  • To develop and support the nurses with clinical skills and re-validation
  • The Clinical Practice undertake investigations. Clinical audits, and clinical governance

Clinical Practice Development Nurse Requirements:

  • Must be a registered nurse (RGN/RMN with an active NMC
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience with neurological conditions and complex care
  • Knowledgeable of the new CQC single Assessment Framework, Quality Statement legislation, safeguarding procedures, and best practice guidelines
  • Proficient in MCA Assessments following the MCA Act 2005
  • Ideally to have experience in managing multiple nursing teams
