Job Role:**

Reporting to The West Group Quality & Regulatory Manager. To support the Quality department by driving Product and Quality System projects. Actively promote Quality throughout the organisation. Be aware of company and departmental objectives, targets and measurements and assist in the delivery of those targets.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Quality and Regulatory Manager on Quality Projects including but not limited to QMS Projects, Supplier reviews and Engineering Projects.
  • To investigate quality related issues occurring both internally and by the Customer, by identifying the root cause and implementing acceptable corrective actions (8Ds).
  • Driving cross-functional investigation of non-conformities using recognised problem-solving methodology such as 8D/5Y/Ishikawa.
  • Run Gage R&R activities when required.
  • Support In the creation of FMEAs when required.
  • Conduct routine, new or development Supplier Audits to ensure conformity to West Group standards and expectations.
  • Work with Supplier regarding any Audit NC that is raised is closed and re-audit if necessary to prove completion.
  • Actively promote CI within the business and the team.
  • Actively participate in relevant Kaizen events to promote Continuous Improvement.

Required Job Skills:

  • HNC equivalent or higher in relevant engineering (Mechanical, Quality etc)
  • Knowledge of ISO13485 and experience with medical devices
  • Internal Auditor Experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge.
  • Able to conduct data analytics.
  • Proactive.
