- Create monthly management accounts that drive key business decisions
- Provide exceptional bookkeeping for a wide portfolio of SME clients
- Process payments, invoices, and income with precision
- Handle VAT returns
- Manage CIS returns efficiently
- Ensure invoices are paid on time and bank account balances are meticulously tracked
- Proven experience in a similar role, such as Bookkeeper, Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Client Bookkeeper, Practice Accounts Assistant, Practice Bookkeeper, Accounting Technician, or Assistant Accountant
- A confident communicator who can engage seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping
- Ideally, experience working within an accountancy practice
- Familiarity with Xero software is a plus
