Sonic Summary

Our client, a friendly firm of Accountants, is seeking a new client Bookkeeper to join their team.
The role involves various bookkeeping duties, including bank reconciliations, VAT returns, and client query resolution.
Candidates should have strong double-entry bookkeeping experience, ideally with Xero software knowledge, although training can be provided.
Previous experience in an accounting firm or bookkeeping bureau is beneficial but not required.
The position offers flexible hours, with a salary of £30,000 to £35,000 per year, and candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Our client is an established, friendly firm of Accountants who are looking for a new client Bookkeeper to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties including:

Bookkeeping duties for a varied portfolio of clients
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Preparation of VAT returns
Answering client queries regarding bookkeeping
Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
Use of Xero software predominantly
Opportunity to get involved in accounts preparation / more senior accounts duties if desired

You will need strong double-entry bookkeeping experience, and ideally be a confident Xero user, however training can be given on this. Previous experience working within a firm of Accountants or bookkeeping bureau would be highly beneficial, but not essential. The firm are open to considering both full or part-time candidates, and can consider circa 20 hours a week all the way up to full-time, hours can be spread however suits you.
