Job title: Cable Assembler
Location: Portsmouth
Job type: Ongoing contract
Pay rate: Up to £15 per hour PAYE/ £19.80 umbrella depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4pm, Friday 7.30am to 1pm (37.5 hours)
Overtime: LOADS OF OVERTIME AVAILABLE AT A PREMIUM! Time and a third weekdays, time and a half on weekends
This is an exciting opportunity for an experience for a Cable Assembler to join a leading manufacturing company on a contract basis
The role of the Cable Assembler:
- Full cable assembly
- Harness builds and looming
- Following engineering drawings
- Working to IPC-620
The Cable Assembler should have the following skills and experience:
- Confident in soldering and crimping
- Able to follow engineering drawings
- Cable and harness assembly experience would be beneficial
- Previous or current IPC-620 certification would be beneficial along with working to this in previous roles
This Cable Assembler role is ideal for individuals with experience in cable and harness assembly, as well as those with prior soldering and crimping skills who are eager to grow in this area (pay rate will reflect experience level)
